Tips for Writing Campaign Content


Breaking the content down to manageable chunks makes the task straightforward and assists with focusing on the details which will have the most impact with the candidates.

1. Organisation overview

Tip: Include content that provides Candidates with a 'behind the scenes' insight into the Organisation. Include snippets of information that can't easily be found by simply doing a Google search or reading the Company's Wikipedia page.

Dividing the content into the following sections makes for an interesting read and will focus your fact-finding research:

[Company Name] Today:

What is the market position? - Leader, Second largest, Cutting edge, New entrant, Oldest

How would you describe the Organisation? - Manufacturer, Distributor, Wholesaler, Retailer

What's the history? - Where, when and why did it start? Has it grown to new markets? 

What is the performance? - Recent revenue highlights

Is there a history of growth and investment? - What investors are involved? What difference did the investment make? Is the organisation at seed stage? 

Who We are:

Who are the key leadership people? 

Include headshots - LinkedIn profiles are a good source for appropriate images

How long have they worked for the Organisation

What are the key roles? 

Which specific business growth areas these key people have influenced? - Product, geographical locations, market sectors, operational sectors

Product Innovation:

Which products are unique to the Organisation

How much has been invested in R&D?

What's the driver behind the product innovation? - Sustainability, charity, UX

What's the next stage of the product development? 

Marketing Activity:

What is the Go to Market strategy? - Website, retail, collaborations

Preview of forthcoming marketing initiatives

Timeline:

Include details which aren't readily available to Candidates via Google, Wikipedia etc.

Summary

We are looking for a driven individual to develop the brand's commercial performance and presence in the EMEA region. The role is has demanding needs - finding incremental growth in some core areas whilst delivering rapid sustainable growth in several under-developed areas.   

The right person will have experience in a commercial engineering leadership role, ideally in the maritime or construction sector. We are looking for experience of strategic planning, sales team management, partner recruitment & management, forecasting & planning, sales analytics, working with and coordinating the Fast Response teams based in Rotterdam and Jebel Ali, Dubai.

Maritime Technologies offer services in several different areas: Civill Engineering, Inspection Services, Heavy Marine Construction , Commercial Diving and Ship Husbandry. These sevices cover several markets: military, port authorities, government agencies, petro-chemical plants, nuclear power plants, Coast Guards and private commercial businesses.

Because of the fast-paced nature of the Maritime Technologies business the right person will be able to identify both immediate and longer term opportunities and draw together internal stakeholders to deliver against these needs without the input of Global CEO or Board Exec.

Base Salary: €180,000 - €200,000

Annual Bonus Package: On-target bonus is 25% (of base), >10% overachievement is 50%

Long-Term Bonus Scheme Additional bonus of $150,000 is awarded for hitting the 3 year revenue & EDBITDA targets

Pension: 8% matched

Healthcare: Full private medical including dental for employee and immediate family
