How to Connect or Merge Organisations

Tip: Use the merge organisations tool to keep data tidy.

Link associated organisations and all data will merge into a single profile; addresses, notes, tasks, contacts, campaigns and documents.

In the following example we'll link Adidas (UK) Ltd to the parent organisation Adidas. 

Select Manage organisations from the lefthand toolbar and navigate to the organisation to be linked.

In the centre windowpane click on Edit organisation details.

Select Parent organisation tab.

In the popup window type in the Organisation name you want to link to and the organisations will filter as you type. 

Select the Organisation required.

The Organisation name will appear in the box and the two organisations are now linked.

Return to the Organisation profile and a message will now appear to show that the Organisation is now linked to a parent. 

Click on View the parent organisation to view the merged details.

The parent organisation profile will open.

This will contain the merged details such as Contacts and Addresses. 

In the Linked organisations box the Organisation logo will show.
